Verse 2

فَصَلِّ لِرَبِّكَ وَانْحَرْ

“Fasalli lirabbika wanhar” “So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].”

Verse 3

إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ الْأَبْتَرُ

“Inna shani-aka huwal abtar” “Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off [from future hope].”

The final verse serves as a reassurance to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that his enemies, who seek to belittle him, will face an ultimate loss and be severed from goodness.
